TT this battle has been done to death and it's getting annoying. I'm just going to copypasta my argument from the other Goku vs Superman thread.Inb4 the lock.I have no doubt it will really come down to Goku's techniques and his astronomical power in comparison to Superman.Like Goku's Shunkan Idō (Instant Transmission).
Many people think it takes a giant of concentration and he wouldn't be able to use it in a fight, however this is completely wrong. Now Instant transmission isn't a speed feat, but it's very very useful in battle.Dodging Cell's blast with little to no concentration and attacks at an openingInstant transmission while powering up a KamehamehaAt way way less then a second, he can react and teleport right next to Buu, dodging his attack in the processSensing across the Holy Relm that Super Buu is about to blow up the planet, without even concentrating Goku teleports right next to him and intercepts.Teleports all around Cell and was so fast Cell couldn't track his movements, even being significantly stronger and faster.
Does it without concentration or even with his fingers.Uses it without his fingers (AGAIN)Teleports across the Galaxy easily. Only concentrates for a couple of seconds.Across dimensions of heaven and hell to King Kai's planet even though he's aliveAs you can see the instant transmission is extremely useful and Goku has trained with it so much he can use it on a whim with little to no energy lost. He can use this technique against Superman to dodge attacks, clear in for openings, get the drop on Superman. Even if the planet explodes Goku can teleport to a distant planet or across dimensions without difficulty.Furthermore Goku has trained to sense the planets life force (energy), ranging from planets, water, the core, the sky and clouds, even animals. And Goku's Shunkan Idō (Instant Transmission) relies on sensing the life force and instantly teleporting to or near it. This conclude's that Goku can teleport anywhere on the planet making him much more versatile, fast and unpredictable in the fight vs Superman.
And even though Superman doesn't have KI, he has life, which Goku can easily sense. Now another factor of why Goku would win is his insane power and striking damage. For example Goku fought Frieza an extremely durable villain who can survive a great, who is way more durable then Superman. Some examples of Frieza durability.Frieza kicking back a planet busting attack.Surviving a giant spirit bomb with scratches.A planet exploding on him would result in minor energy lossChopped in half, beaten to death, and drained of KI but is still able to survive a planet exploding on him.Yet after all of this durability Super Saiyan Goku's striking power can absolutely lay waste to a villain with planet exploding durability at 100% power. Which is extremely more durable then himself chopped in half.
Goku has insane striking strength, which is way more useful in a fight then the strength to lift an object. Goku puts his strength into fighting, with his punches, kicks, grapples ect.Goku easily man-handling Frieza, all of his blows doing significant damage. Also the Kai's said they could even kill Frieza in one blow, and SSJ3 Goku is stronger then all of them.SSJ3 Goku punches can completely destroy villains with multi-planet destroying durability in one hit, Superman wouldn't be able to even take Goku's striking power. This is also a case for Goku's durability. Frieza is significantly weaker then Goku at Super Saiyan the first time, even more so in Cell Saga, Super Saiyan 2, 3, and 4. A weaker person = less durability.
Goku can easily replicate the durability feats of Frieza hundreds of times over in his later forms.Furthermore his power can definitely put down Superman. Now we all know Vegeta's final flash attacks.Let's compare the Final Flash attack to Goku's KamehamehaFinal Flash tears a big chunk off of CellNow let's see SSJ Goku's kamehamehaIt completely rips Cells body apart. This concludes that Goku's Kamehameha Final Flash. And the best part is Goku wasn't anywhere near his power at the end of DBZ or DBGT.
His power is astronomical, and he can narrow it or launch it in the air to avoid planet annihilation. And people say 'Oh Goku needs time to charge his attacks' well yes but Goku can charge up his attacks while fighting.Even in the easily Saiyan Saga Goku was putting out enough energy to overpower a Galick Gun that would of destroyed the planet in SAIYAN SAGA. Literally one of his weakest points in the series.Only getting multiplied by his Super Saiyan forms. SSJ = 50x Base. SSJ2 = SSJ x 2. SSJ3 = SSJ2 x 4. SSJ4 = SSJ3 X 10in Super Saiyan 3 just by powering up i the air he creates a world wide earthquake that literally tears the whole planet apart, and his power is so astronomical it can be felt across the universe in the holy relm. And Yes Goku's astronomical power would put down Superman, as Clark has been defeated by people who can't produce the same planet busting attacks Goku's got. Beaten by Gog Beaten by phyiscally by General Eiling Blasted and beat Superman Depero beating Superman easily Killed by Doomsday with punches One-Shotted by Fernus Pounded and beaten by Lobo Atlas beat him Dominus beats him with a shot that didn't even destroy a mountain Hawkman KO'd him for a set amount of time drawing energy from the Earth (Not magic) Smashed by General Zod Orion one shots him with a laserAnd none of these were with magic, just brute force. However Superman is mostly a brawler and doesn't have the skills to combat martial arts masters.
@ComocYahweh said:Morals off sups easily, flies into space and blows up planet with heatvision.Except his heat vision would do nothing of the sort. It would be an easy repeat of Goku vs Vegeta whee Goku blocks it with his own Kamehameha.Goku wouldn't even need to block it, Superman has never shown to be able to blow up a continent, a country or a city with heat vision. These are scans of his heat vision, which i remind you are all with his morals off, who hasn't even come close to even Master Roshi's moon busting.

Killing a field of weaker Doomsdays only to be hurt in the process Not even city busting Wonder Woman isn't even injured when tanking a point blank range heat visionHeating the Earth only when he was amped. @ComocYahweh said:@nickzambuto said:@ComocYahweh said:Morals off sups easily, flies into space and blows up planet with heatvision.Goku can counter the heat vision with any assortment of ki attacks. Or he could just IT up to Superman, grab him, and IT back to Earth in a nanosecond.Superman can spread the heatvision over the entire planet, and Goku can't survive in space, the instant he arrives in space he'll be turned inside out by the vacuum.Goku can extend his Kamehameha too. Or a quick Solar Flare should keep Clark distracted. And Goku won't turn inside out the second he reaches space. It's a matter of endurance, even Batman has survived in a vacuum for 27 seconds. Not to mention Goku has been shown capable of surviving on the moon for at least a little while. @XImpossibruX: Christ, man, can you make it through a single argument without either lowballing characters or posting scans that are atrociously out of context to the point that it becomes more than evident you've never even read the story in question?.
Eiling never beat Superman. Amazo took out Superman with blasts of red solar radiation. His weakness. Despero did not knock out Superman at any point during Virtue and Vice. DOS Doomsday killed Byrne's Superman, a much weaker version that could barely survive a nuke. Fernus did not one-shot Superman.
He was still fighting on the pages after that to the point that he tore Fernus apart by flying through him, although Fernus reformed immediately afterwards. The only times Fernus actually KO'd Superman in that story, he was using Martian Manhunter-level telepathy or selective molecular phasing. Lobo beat Byrne's Superman in that scan.
I notice you haven't posted scans of Superman's other fights with Lobo, like the one where he knocked the Czarnian into orbit with one punch or when he was possessed by Eclipso and blitzed the hell out of Lobo. But then why bother when lowballing is easier. Atlas (and this is really the part that proves you have no clue what you're talking about) was using magic. Every punch he threw out was amped by magic. It was stated explicitly in that story that Supes was suffering because of the magic. Dominus is a reality warper who casually creates dimensions at will. Hawkman did not KO Superman.
It was stated a couple of issues later that Clark was faking because it was the only way to get near the protected White House. Zod did not beat Superman there either. They stalemated until an Imperiex Probe crashed on Earth and Superman left to investigate. I'm going to set aside the fact that you called the Astro-Force 'a laser', and point out that this was Superman during his early days in Metropolis. It's been stated that he grows stronger the longer his exposure to sunlight, so bringing up Noobperman's durability showings isn't really advisable. The thing that no one who posts those Superman vs Wonder Woman scans points out is that Superman could not fight Wonder Woman there as effectively as he could have under normal circumstances.
He was in the middle of an illusion and perceived every attack from Wonder Woman as something else. If she threw a rock at him he'd perceive it as Doomsday punching him and the reason (it's even shown in the comic) that Wonder Woman's tiara cut him was because from his perspective, it was Doomsday practically in his face slashing him with a wrist-bone, and there was no space to dodge. For that matter Superman casually beat Wonder Woman in A League of One and she herself admitted that she couldn't beat him in a fight, skill or otherwise. But why would a teensy little concept like facts feature in your argument?. Wonder Woman does not have a single combat speed showing that Superman has not matched or bettered countless times. She can say whatever she wants, his fight speed feats are just better than hers in every possible way.You know why people are always bagging on anime fans and saying they drag down the quality of a debate, that they're biased and any and all anime threads are a waste of time as a result? It's because of posts like yours above.
That kind of thing is pathetic. @ComocYahweh said:@nickzambuto said:@ComocYahweh said:Morals off sups easily, flies into space and blows up planet with heatvision.Goku can counter the heat vision with any assortment of ki attacks. Goku can still teleport behind Superman and vaporize him with a Kamehameha before he destroys the planet. He can fire his Kamehameha through the heatvision and knock Superman out that way too. Splitting the planet in half isn't the same as destroying it there'll still be two halves of the planet for them to fight on. @XImpossibruX: Another thing you get wrong is hyping up Goku's energy blasts too much. Let's take two instances from the Cell Games Saga as an example. One scene that proves my point is Goku charging up a Super Kamehameha to use on Cell. Everyone's saying that Goku's charged up enough power to destroy the Earth.
And how much damage does this blast do? Barely an atom bomb or a nuke scale level of a blast radius. It doesn't even destroy Cell, just his top half body. And another blatant example of how energy projection isn't all it's supposed to be in DBZ. When Cell charges up a Kamehameha against Gohan, he states he has enough energy to destroy the Solar System. After endless back and forth blasting, Gohan finally overpowers Cell's attack with a blast more powerful.
So that means it should be more powerful than a solar system busting attack right? Except it only destroyed Cell and encompassed a large but nowhere near system busting range. Heck the planet wasn't even destroyed.
Some solar system destroying attack. All in all, all Goku really has is fighting skills over Superman. And really fighting skills can only get you so far as shown by his fights with Wonder Woman who is way stronger and faster than Goku. Stop lowballing Superman and posting biased arguments. @BlueComet said:@ComocYahweh said:@nickzambuto said:@ComocYahweh said:Morals off sups easily, flies into space and blows up planet with heatvision.Goku can counter the heat vision with any assortment of ki attacks. He looked like he was knocked out, and even had a bloody nose after. Captain marvel has the wisdom of Solomon, he, but would know if Superman was fakin being knocked out. Superman and Batman could of woken up and overpowered them, but to say at the very least Superman was hurt by Hawkman.'
We let them think they did to get allow powergirl and katana to get the boy'. As citizenbane said the wisdom of solomon doesn't work that way.
Also I don't even think captain marvel uses it often (I could be wrong as I don't read really any captain marvel). He may have been hurt by it (possibly, again he was faking its arguable if he was all though I do think he was due to it drawing power from the planet) all though hawkman said he basically hit superman with the planet. Nothing wrong with being hurt by a planet. @BlueComet said:Goku can and has survived in space for short periods of time.

I've watched DBZ and at no point does he survive in space. If he hadn't gotten on the escape pod, he would have died in space after Namek exploded. And there is not one shred of proof that Goku is a planet buster. He's never blown up a planet at all. Not with a Kamehameha, not with a Spirit Bomb, not with anything.
Your logic is faulty. Loading Video. He's also fighting here at Hypersonic speeds. Part of Superman's Shtick is that he's holding back a lot of the time. His power, of going all out for standard hero work can potentially kill people. As of New 52, he's much faster than this.
Hell, in the Golden Age he could move from earth into space, and find a suitably dead solar system in enough time to sneeze, since his sneeze is a Solar System-busting involuntary action.I'd also like to say that surviving 15 supernovas of energy point blank is notably durable. @ComocYahweh said:@BlueComet said:@ComocYahweh said:@nickzambuto said:@ComocYahweh said:Morals off sups easily, flies into space and blows up planet with heatvision.Goku can counter the heat vision with any assortment of ki attacks. Since he actually has a way of determinig the Kamehameha's powers it isn't a guess it's a fact.
